White Jeans in the Winter
When wearing white jeans in the winter, your goal is to make them look as fool proof as possible. You don’t want people questioning why you are wearing white after Labor Day – you want to make the statement that it is, in fact, okay to do.
I’ve always wondered why this old fashioned rule remained law in the south. We spend so much money on jeans, yet (at least in Texas) get a total of about 6 weeks to enjoy them. What’s up with that?
In my article, I want to teach you not only why wearing white denim in the winter should be allowed, but how to do it, so you can rock your look no matter where you take it. PS: if Glamour magazine says it’s okay, it’s totally okay.
With a Casual Hoodie
Jeans | Boots | Hoodie button down | Bag
Keep it casual with an easy hoodie and some over the knee boots. Make the look feel (and look!) effortless by pairing it with scrunched over the knee boots and an oversized tote bag. You’ll look chic without the stress of having to pull together much of anything.
Sweater and Heels
These heels happen to be one of my very favorites – they, like white jeans, go with everything. Through them on with a chunky sweater and be ready for whatever your day throws at you. If you go for an all grey look like you see here, opt for a pop of color to make the winter a bit more bright. This is my favorite look for a winter brunch or casual business meeting.
Coat and Booties
If you are from somewhere a little bit more chili than me, this option is for you. I LIVE for a good coat look. This option is very versatile. It allows you to tie the jacket shut or keep it open depending on the look you are going for (or the temperature you are dressing for). Add on a sweater or a hat to make this look a bit more complete.
Oversized Blazer and Over the Knee Boots
Jeans | Blazer | OTK Boots | Button Down | Handbag
There is something about an oversized blazer that makes me so happy. You can look professional and be comfortable at the same time – say what? I even mentioned them in my article about Summer to Fall transition pieces.
Throw on a patterned oversized blazer with jeans, a button down, and some over the knee boots and get ready to strut out the door.
