Foolproof Ways to Style Pastels for Spring
It’s no secret that with the spring comes the pastel color tones. This year, though, it is looking like pastels are going to be here to stay going into the summer months, so it’s best to prep and be ready to style them for all occasions. Today on the blog, I am going to be showing you some foolproof ways to style pastels for spring through some of my favorite pastel outfit inspo collages.
Pastel Outfit Inspo for Spring
1 - Rouched Floral Dress
A rouched skirt on a dress is the perfect cut for someone who is a little bustier. It allows for the figure to be recognized without being overly revealing.
Contrasting leathers (shoes, purse, jacket, etc.) add dimension to the outfit without taking away from the focus point. Just be sure to match your metals (gold with gold) like with this beautiful light beige bag and these brown sandals!
Pearls – like these earrings and this bracelet – compliment pastels in their shade and simplicity!
2 - Casual Tank and Shorts Look
A good, high waist, denim short is 100% an investment piece worth having for the spring – fall months.
A neutral, square toed sandal heel can be dressed down (like it is here) or up for a wedding or an event!
A white leather bag – if cared for correctly – is something you can use year after year for all types of occasions. I love that this one can be worn across the shoulder or carried as a clutch.
Square cat eye sunglasses are all the rage this season. I really think they look fabulous on people who have fuller faces. This pair is super versatile and can be worn with anything from a dress to a swimsuit.
3 - A Pastel Blouse for the Office or Casual Day to Day
A fitted pastel blouse can be styled so many ways. Wear it with jeans (like seen here) or throw it on with a navy pencil skirt for the office. I like that this one comes in multiple colors and has subtle detailing.

Much like what I said before about denim shorts… high waist, straight leg jeans are something worth investing in because you know you’ll get your money out of them. I love how classic and simple this pair is in particular.
Let’s not forget about the contrasting leathers! This purse is a perfect one for day to day.
4 - Babydoll Dress for All Occasions
I’ve always been a sucker for a good babydoll dress. A pastel babydoll dress can be worn to church, a baby or wedding shower, brinch, or even to a casual outdoor wedding. I love that they are bump friendly (for all of my expecting mamas out there) and breathable.
Round lensed sunglasses are all the rage this year (much like the square cateye ones). These look best on flatter and heart shaped faces!
5 - Pastel Blazer for Work and Play
A pastel blazer layered over white cropped denim takes sophisticated casual to a whole new level. Both of these items are worth investing in so they will last you for a long span of time.
I love a good white sneaker moment! Opting for this option makes this outfit flawless for transitioning from running errands to happy hour at an upscale bar.
Dainty gold hoops are a classic to throw on when you are on the move. They aren’t too heavy so they won’t hold you back, but they really pull your outfit together and make it look complete.
