Rodeo Season Outfit Inspo: One Dress, Four Ways
I’m just a girl, iced into my apartment away from the rest of the world (that’s Texas, for you) planning outfits for you to wear once we are able to leave our homes again! Today on the blog, I am sharing with yall one faux leather dress for rodeo season styled four ways.
I love building outfits that show one item styled multiple ways. As someone who overthinks what she’s going to wear a lot of the time, articles like this let me see a certain piece (or an investment piece!) and all of its potential.
In this case, I am styling a piece for rodeo season which is always a big deal as it travels around the south!
The Faux Leather Dress
Today’s piece is a long sleeved, faux leather dress that is an absolutely beautiful olive-stone color. It actually was one of the items I was crushing on last month (click here to read)! I love that it is sophisticated enough that you could wear it to work (maybe I should do an article about that too?), but comfortable enough to wear it somewhere like the rodeo.
Dress Features I Love
- The Cinched Waist – This is a game changer. If you are busier or a little bit more pear shaped, the cinched waist on this beautiful dress will make it so you can rock your curves, not hide them.
- The Collared V Neck – This cut allows you to style your neckline however you want! Stack a few necklaces at alternating heights, or tuck a bandana, scarf or tie under the collar for a sophisticated (or southern) look.
- The Color – This color is not quite green enough to be olive. I love that it is neutral enough to wear with just about anything!
