Charleston Bachelorette Trip Looks You’ll Totally Love

What to wear to your Bachelorette in Charleston

My Charleston Bachelorette Trip

Even though we’ve only been back home for a little over a week now, I am already dying to relive my Charleston bachelorette trip over and over again. The weekend was amazing. How often does one get to go on a getaway with all of their favorite people?! If a wedding is all it takes, I should get married every year (;

Picking Looks for my Bachelorette

Shopping for any trip is a struggle, but when it comes to anything wedding related there is an extra element of suspense (cue the Jaws music). You want it to be special! Something about once in a lifetime moments really adds the pressure. Since I was so busy with wedding planning and the blog, I didn’t put as much thought into my packing list as I wish I had. That said, I still managed to pack some of the cutest pieces, and my squad did an amazing job accessorizing me! I really did feel so special and look like a bride to be!

What I Wore: Bachelorette Trip Looks

Night 1: When we first arrived

When we first arrived, I was tired and gross from traveling. I wanted something that screamed “bride” without being too obnoxious (I was saving that for later). This one shouldered top was the perfect choice. It’s breathable and so flattering. Paired with mom cut jeans, it really was such a low key great outfit. Of course, the veil and tiara are what really tied everything together! I wore sandals because my feet were swollen from travel (though, yes, I agree with you… wedges would have been cuter). To make up for what I was lacking in footwear, I upped my jewelry game with a festive pair of Kendra hoops that I am currently obsessed with. For the walk to dinner, I threw on my sunglasses and was good to go!

Day 2: First full day in Charleston!

During the second “official” but first full day, It was HOT and humid. Though I am from Georgia, I totally forgot how thick the weather is in the southeast!

Because we were going to be bar hopping, I decided tennis shoes (sneakers… whatever) were my best options. My white New Balance’s have never steered me wrong! I paired them with a blue and white mini dress that was so cute and beyond breathable.

Day 3: My official Bachelorette Trip Photoshoot

Day 3 was SO much fun – we had a photoshoot! Everyone met up on Rainbow Row and took photos together. I’ll be sharing a little bit more info on this in my all inclusive trip post, but it was such a cute area. These are photos I know I’m going to look back on for years to come!

For the photoshoot, we all had matching t-shirts (mine said bride, of course) and wore similar things so the photos were SO cute. I paired mine with sandals (again, comfort is key) and a pair of black paperbag shorts. They were borrowed, so I couldn’t find the exact ones. That said, I have linked some similar options.

Night 3: Charleston Never saw us Coming

Night 3 was the rowdiest – and I was dressed. for. it. The squad wore black and I wore SEQUINS. This was by FAR my favorite outfit from the trip. Hand me a champagne glass and a comfy pair of wedges and I am READY for anything. My hoops were in, my veil was on, and my Lumee was charged. There was nothing going to get in my way from a night on the town!

Day 4: The Recovery and Boat Cruise

After the festivities of the night, I was out for the count. My voice was gone (literally). I had a headache that wouldn’t go away. My calves hurt from who knows what.

Luckily, this day had been preserved for walking and shopping around town or laying low. I napped and tried to rest my voice the best I could.

That night was the boat cruise which is tied with the photoshoot as my favorite activity while there. It was BEAUTIFUL on the water. For this, I thought about wearing an oversized sweater, but ended up opting for something a little more “southern chic” – a blue and white strapless ruffle top! It was the perfect end to the perfect mini week vacay.
