Enneagram Gift Guide
Last updated 10/18/22 – I am SO excited to share my enneagram gift guide with you all! This guide will show you gifts for every enneagram type and why said gifts are perfect for the type you’re shopping for. Ask anyone I’ve ever worked with: I LOVE the enneagram. Unlike Meyers Briggs or some of the other “personality” tests, Enneagram actually gives some insight into why you are the way you are rather than just stereotyping you into a bucket based on if you are introverted/extroverted. It talks about who you are at your core. Why are you wired the way you are? Is there a reason you react to certain situations the way you do? Those are the types of questions the enneagram answers.
If you have never taken the test before, you can take my favorite free one here. Don’t overthink your answers – just answer everything naturally. Essentially you will be one of 9 numbers (core personality) and more than likely will have a wing, or a second personality that is just less dominant than your first. I am a 2w3, but if you haven’t taken the test that will mean nothing to you.

I have included descriptions of each of the nine enneagram types along with their respective gift guide to help you accurately shop for your friends or family members. Happy shopping 🙂
Gift Guide: Enneagram Type 1 - The “Reformer”
Type One’s are typically self controlled and organized. They like things to be a certain way, and have a reason why they like things that certain way. Practically dictates why they make the choices they do.
Gift Guide: Enneagram Type 2 - The “Helper”
I am an enneagram 2, and our goal is to make others feel valued and loved. We like to be generous with our time and money. If there is ever a conflict, we want to be the shoulder you lean on to work out your problems. Though we are often the first to volunteer for activities, we rarely open our souls to people outside of our closest group of people.
Gift Guide: Enneagram Type 3 - The “Achiever”
Threes’ like to be told they are doing a good job, and are willing to put in the work to make that happen. They are the “most likely to start their own business” yearbook superlative in real life. Drive, ambition, and success are what dictate most of their decisions.
Gift Guide: Enneagram Type 4 - The “Individualist”
Type 4s are the most rare type on the enneagram spectrum. They typically are deeply introspective. Many are artistic in all different takes on the word. 4s know themselves more than any other type, and often like to help other types dig deep and find out more about themselves.
Gift Guide: Enneagram Type 5 - The “Investigator”
I do have to say that of all of the different types, enneagram 5 is the one I know the least about. Type 5s like to be seen as experts on very niche, particular topics. They do a lot of research and like to know what they are talking about. My fiance, Harry, is a 6w5, and he 100% takes on this trait from the 5 in him. His current area of expertise is watches.
Gift Guide: Enneagram 6 - The “Loyalist”
Loyalists typically have a small, close group that they don’t wander far from. This isn’t saying they don’t have friends outside of that group, or that they are all introverts. Their core group is where they feel the most secure. They are, as in the name, loyal. A 6 will be your most ferocious friend and do whatever they can for you if you are in their inner circle. This being said, you have to work hard to get into that circle and prove you are worthy of being there before they will accept you.
Gift Guide: Enneagram 7 - The “Enthusiast”
7s are the star of the show. The party doesn’t start until they walk in, and a lot of times they are very well aware of this fact. They rarely finish one plan before starting to think about the next. Travel, fun, and being busy are their favorite things.
Gift Guide: Enneagram 8 - The “Challenger”
My sister is a challenger, which can cause some angst in our household with me being the opposite type, the helper. Challengers know what they want and aren’t afraid to say it. They are confrontational, which makes them great friends or companions. Typically, challengers run in a very small circle and are the decision making authority in that group.
Gift Guide: Enneagram 9 - The “Peacemaker”
Finally, the peacemaker. Number 9s are agreeable and loving. They want to just be happy and do whatever you want to do. There are very rare times when a 9 takes charge – they’d rather sit back and be told where they will fit best. The best descriptor of a 9 is “easy going”. They are your chill friend who is happy with all the plans or no plans at all.
