Gifts to Give to Wine Connoisseurs in 2020
Giving just a plain bottle of wine in 2020 is just plain not personal. We’ve all had a rough year, wine lovers included, and we want to see you put some thought into your gift (if you want to then throw a bottle of wine in too, that’s okay 😉 ).
I have gone through all of my favorite wine items to bring to you the ultimate Wine Lover’s gift guide of 2020.
Your Favorite Wine Glasses (or mine)
Wine Glasses I own and love from this list:
Round top, Long Stem Wine Glass – these are my FAVORITE wine glasses. They are otherwise known as the “Olivia Pope” wine glass from the TV show Scandal. Such a great buy. PS: they are also on my wedding registry, in case you were curious how much I love them. They come in red (linked above) and white versions.
“Hipped” Wine Glass – if you are looking for something a little bit more affordable than the one’s linked above, but still just as large and fun. They would make a great hostess gift or even a great gift to a couple.
Stemless Bottom Heavy Glass – these are my favorite to sip out of with guests or after a long day. They are easy and can be thrown into the dishwasher after.
Wine Glasses on my Christmas list:
Square Stemmed Glass – These glasses are so chic and beautiful. They would make a great gift for your hostess friend or someone who likes to be “high end”
“Bubble” Stemless Glass – How dramatic and contemporary are these?! They would be fun to bring out at a dinner party or a girls night.
A Book about Wine
Wine reads are my favorite way to grow in my understanding of the entire practice of wine making, and of how to properly appreciate the art. They would make great, affordable gifts for anyone who wants to learn more.
Two of the ones I have in my guide I own (and love), and the rest come highly recommended.
Wine books I Own and Love: 10 Grapes to Know and The Wine Bible
Bar Cart / Bar Area Decor
I love my bar carts at home not only because they are functional, but because they add to the space. You can dress them up for the various seasons, or make them every day. All of my suggestions here are for items that I have and love on my cart, or think someone else would love too.

Some of my favorites are:
Marble wine cooler – So pretty and functional. I love it for decoration purposes, but it is also awesome for when we are entertaining. It also can double as a planting pot for anyone who doesn’t want to use it for wine!
Woven or wooden basket – for storing corks for future crafts or use. I would recommend putting something small in the basket when you give.
Coffee table book – for added pizzazz. These are always a good gift to give! Check out my favorites under $50 here.
Tupperware CorkScrew – the best in the business and worth every penny, I promise
