My July Amazon Purchases

My July Amazon Purchases

Welcome to my very first Amazon purchase review! Today’s post is all about my Amazon Purchases from July.

If you know me, you know I’m very much a saver. I am only going to buy things after reading multiple reviews and if I have a fairly good idea it is going to fit me or work for me. If you are someone who follows my blog closely, you also know that my husband and I were hit pretty hard by the pandemic, and therefore there isn’t a lot of money laying around for “fun” spending.

This month, I had four purchases I wanted to share with you all! All of them were items that I felt were truly budget worthy and good quality finds.

The Mega Size Shampoo and Conditioner

I have tried a million (literally) different shampoos and conditioners, and nothing had ever been able to aid my hair against the heat of a Texas summer. Redken was recommended to me by a coworker at my last job, but I never got around to giving it a try until fairly recently. It has been AMAZING. For the first time, I don’t dread getting out of the shower and brushing my hair in fear of finding new dead spots. The product lasts forever and I have been able to train my hair to only need to be washed 1-2 times a week with the amount of moisture this shampoo and conditioner provide.

I decided to buy the big bottles during the Amazon Prime sale because I knew I would use them. If you’re thinking about making the switch, I recommend starting out with the smaller size of shampoo and conditioner and making the big switch to larger products once you know they work for you.

As a highly sensitive person (HSP), I loved reading this book to learn more about myself. I have found since reading it, though, that I am more easily able to identify other HSPs since getting all of the details! It was a reference read for sure – but it is one I’ll make sure to look back on from time to time to ensure I remember certain things, and one I’ll gift to others in the future!

I’ve been needing a practical storage arrangement for my jewelry that isn’t insanely priced. When I found this jewelry box for under $25, I was beyond excited. Not only is it high quality (particularly for the money), but you can see what is in each drawer so getting ready with it is easy. It is compact so you can keep it anywhere you want! This is 100% something I am going to remember for my female family members as well come holiday time!

I’m not normally THAT girl but… be right back, buying this top in every color! It is SO flattering. No matter your body type, it will work for you. The top is thick and doesn’t show sweat (unless you’re really trying for it), and the padding is removable.

Sizing: As someone who falls on the B/C cup cusp, I like having the padding in, and I sized up a size. My friend that recommended this top to me (the queen) reminded me that checking the size chart is so important.

Support: I’d say this top has medium support (I wouldn’t run for more than a quick spring in it or jump rope), but for my typical cardio (walking, biking, stair stepper) I am just fine wearing it. It has great coverage for classes, and I have worn it to pilates (mat and reformer) and barre classes with no issue!
