My Beauty Restocks for June

My June Beauty Restocks

I have said this before on my Instagram many times, but I am going to say it here as well: beauty restocks are a once a quarter type of thing for me. Whenever I buy a product, I expect it to be quality, last me several months, and do exactly what it says it is going to do.

Once I find items that work for me, it is tough for me to waiver over and try something new. This is because I like to believe I am loyal to the products that work for me, and want my audience to trust my advice. I was actually just going through some of my old beauty articles, including my Beauty Gift Guide from 2020. Every since item I recommended in that guide I still use to this day, or wouldn’t mind having my name behind my backing it.

Anyways, off of my soapbox now… I just wanted to let yall know I take my beauty recommendations VERY seriously. In today’s post, I will be sharing:

  • Items I restocked during the month of June

Do you know these 5 Beauty Hacks?

June Beauty Restocks

With the exception of one item (the Loops), I have used every product here for at least a year! I can say with confidence they are worth their costs.

I started wearing CC cream when I started working full time. It has the best coverage without looking cakey like a lot of foundations do! I also love that it doesn’t dry out my skin.

Product highlights:

  • Tube lasts 4-6 months even when using it often
  • Doesn’t dry out your skin
  • Dewy finish
  • Buildable coverage

This stuff has SAVED my hair from the Texas sun. I have always used the Chi blow dry spray – which is amazing – but this adds extra hydration on top of protection.

Product highlights:

  • Hydrating and protecting
  • Bottle lasts 3 months (washing and drying hair 2x per week)
  • Smells amazing

This is the best for “no makeup” days where you still want to look put together. I’m someone who naturally gets red spots on my face all the time, and this hides those without being over the top!

Product highlights:

  • Oil free!
  • Comes with SPF 20 built in
  • Great for day to day “no makeup” look
  • Hides redness (I’m a red girl! For some reason I always look like I’m blushing)
  • Bottle lasts 6+ months!

When it comes to setting makeup, no powder does it as well as Laura Mercier’s. I personally use drugstore powder for other purposes, but nothing goes on as transparently as this one! If you’re ever setting makeup, this is the powder to get.

Product highlights:

  • Long lasting
  • Goes on transparently
  • Doesn’t look cakey when applied

I used to be the girl who would buy the name brand Beauty Blenders for $20 or whatever and use them until they would literally rip because “frugal”. That is so bad for your skin! Sponges harvest bacteria, so no matter how often you are cleaning them, there are things in the sponge pores that will never come out. Experts say you should be replacing your sponge every three months! Finding these on Amazon was a money and skin saver. Now, whenever my sponge starts to look overused, I can just replace it!

Product highlights:

  • Affordable
  • Dupe of the $20 name brand Beauty Blender (I truly can’t tell a difference)
  • Comes in a resealable bag for easy storage

As I said above, this is the one product I have been using for less than a year. That said, it is a product I have bought 4-5 times now because they are just so good! I love how hydrating these patches are. My fine lines have been minimized since I started using them 1-2 times a week. Though they are not the cheapest, they are efficient.

Product highlights:

  • Come in reusable bag that is perfect for travel
  • Reduce fine lines around the eye
  • Only have to use 1-2 times per week to see results (I put them on to work or even sometimes sleep in them!)

Last but not least – this 12 hour blush really does stay on all day. The palette itself also lasts forever. I actually have never finished a palette before. Typically I either accidentally break it or lose it. I recommend buying the mini size (linked) rather than the full size simply because there is no reason to spend money on the larger one (especially if you’re like me). The mini lasts forever!

Product highlights:

  • Lasts a year +
  • You can buy the mini size and save some $$
  • Color is amazing and looks good on almost all skin tones
  • Goes on smooth and looks extremely natural
