I am so excited to be able to give y’all a tour of my new living room! When planning the layout of this room, I wanted to make sure everything felt super open and clean. Consistency was key when I was thinking about how everything would work together.
Obviously, when looking at it, the color that pops out the most is navy. I wanted a soothing, neutral color to be the focal point, while also allowing it to contrast with the brown floor and furniture.
Specifics:
The Egg Chair:
Yall – my egg chair corner is my favorite corner in the entire living room. As a frequent “work from home” person during normal times, this spot has quickly become my favorite place to take calls and meetings when I’m starting to get restless. The footrest is a new addition after lots of requests for one made by my fiance.
The Table / Decor:
My old table broke during the move, which gave me the perfect opportunity to get one that is a little more sturdy. This one was super affordable, but also gives off a “higher-end” vibe. I decorated it with some of our favorite coffee table books and other cute items.
The Bar Cart:
Obviously, yall know that most days around 5PM, the bar cart becomes my new favorite thing. I really like how it spices up the living room, but also gives me a chance to have everything organized. I am constantly cleaning it. The best part about it? The price!
The Couch Decor:
I love that this couch is classy and structured, but also comfortable. The pillows and blanket really add to the room – it looks much different without them than I would have thought. The best part of this couch? It is actually a sleeper! Whenever we want to have guests, we have plenty of room. The couch I linked is similar to the one I have in my living room, but not the exact same.
