Add in some candles
Candles appeal not only to the eye but also to the sense of smell. They can completely transform a room just by sitting in a corner. Some of my favorites:

Get a Fire Going
Adding an electric fireplace to our living room was one of the best decisions I have ever made. During the winter, it helped add heat to our apartment. Now that it is getting warmer out in Texas, I simply turn the “heat” feature off and use the fireplace as an ambiance. It really puts me in the best mood.
Accessorize with some Coffee Table Books
Coffee table books have the unique ability to pull a room together and make it feel put together. I absolutely love how they look in both our living room and guest room!
