A skincare routine to me is more than just what you put on your face morning and night – it is about reading what your skin needs each day of the week.
Though I am no expert, I can say that I have tried hundreds of products to customize what is now my skincare routine. Just for reference, my skin is dry/combo. Many of my products can work on oily skin as well, you will just have to customize use to whatever best fits you and your skincare routine.
In this article, I am going to be sharing my skincare routine for morning and night. Skincare is something that is super important to me, and I am super excited to be able to start educating more on it!
My Skincare Routine
Morning
1: Cleanser
Every morning, I start off my skincare routine by washing my face with Kiehl’s Facial Cleanser. There is a reason Kiehl’s is so nationally acclaimed – it is gentle but gets the job done, and can be used on all skin types.
2: Toner
Once my face is dry, I use the Tula Pro-Glycolic 10% resurfacing toner to even out my complexion and facial hydration. This is another product in my routine that can be used on all skin types, and it has changed my face significantly.
3: Serums
Now it is time for serums. I use the Dr. Dennis C+ Collagen serum first (pat – don’t rub!). This requires the littlest amount. Though the container is pricey, it lasts me up to 6 months, so it is totally worth it. I afterwards use the Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum to really hydrate my skin. If your skin is oily, this product may be too much for it, or you may want to use it every other day rather than every day.
4: Moisturizer
My final step in my daily skincare routine is moisturizer. I use the Eminence Arctic Berry Peptide Radiance Cream. It is AMAZING and smells like heaven. I am obsessed with the little tingly feeling my face gets right after I put it on!

Evening
1: Cleanser
My evening skincare routine starts with Kiehl’s Facial Cleaner as well, but this time I use an exfoliating brush to really get into my pores and scrub off any dead skin.
2: Toner
I swear this is the only other thing that is the same as my morning routine, but at night, I use the Tula Pro-Glycolic toner as well.
3: Serums
At night, your skin needs more hydration than during the day. This is your chance to really give your skin that dewy, healthy look. I first use Sunday Riley: Good Genes lactic acid. If you buy this, splurge and buy the bigger bottle – I swear it is worth every penny and it lasts so much longer. Next I go in with the Drunk Elephant A-Passion Retinol cream and rub it all over. This is my go-to retinol (swear it’s the best). If you’ve never used retinol before, make sure to work up to using it every night. I started by using it twice a week and made my way up to nightly.
If my skin is really dehydrated, I will then use the Eminence Firm Skin Acai Booster Serum to really give it the extra hydration it needs. I use it probably once a week and have had my bottle for almost 2 years, so I promise it is worth the spend for those days you need a little extra somethin’. It’s also a great serum to use before ice rolling (my favorite luxury!).
4: Moisturizer
My final items in my skincare routine: eye cream and moisturizer. For eye cream, I LOVE Eminence’s Neroli Age Corrective Eye Serum. It is thick enough that it stays on all night, but it doesn’t clog the pores. Make sure to apply eye cream ALL over the lid and creases. Think like you are wearing a pair of oversized sunglasses – all of that needs to be covered.
For moisturizer, I use the Tula Hydrating Day and Night Cream. This stuff, again, is a GAME CHANGER. It is so hydrating and will keep your face lifted and smoothe all night long.
