Spring has sprung, and you know what that means! It’s wedding season, and today on the blog I am giving an extensive round up of pastel wedding guest dresses for spring.

What are the Pastel Colors of the Season?
According to Pantone (yes, like the paint sample) shades of baby pink like Gossamer (Soft and powdery) and light blue like the color Spun Sugar (a sweetened pastel with an airy nature) are going to be your biggest hits for the season. That said, you can never go wrong with a soft toned pastel or a neutral! To me, it is always more important to find a color that works best with your skintone, and a cut that hits your body right, than it is to match the seasonal trends. Deep V Neckline
This style is huge for brides and guests alike. As long as you do it tastefully, a plunging neckline can be sensual and glamorous.

Side Slits
A side slit to me is very much like a deep V… if done correctly, it can be very tasteful yet sensual. Make sure the slit doesn’t go up too high on your leg. If you are opting for a slit that is a little higher than you’re normally comfortable with, see if you can find compression biker shorts in the same color as the gown. This will help you avoid any accidents or slip ups.
Unique Cuts and Cutouts
I am loving all of the various ways designers are mixing things up this year! It really is such a great way to diversify. With these, I’d recommend trying the dress on before the day of. Even if a brand always fits your body type, a misplaced cutout can lead to a disaster.
