Picture Worthy Restaurants in Miami
Whenever I’m planning a trip, the first topic that I research every time is food. Miami restaurants were no exception. Being the blogger I am and the food snob I hate to be, my research in this category was extensive. You spend a good chunk of your day eating, so it is super important that you do your research in advance and know what you’re getting into.
In this article, I’m going to talk about:
- Tips you should know before dining in Miami
- Instagrammable and absolutely amazing Miami Restaurants (plus a bonus SIXTH restaurant you need to go to!!!)
- My thoughts on each of these places
Tips you should know while dining in Miami
While in Miami (and especially in Instagrammable / nicer spots) I noticed some trends. These are things you should be aware of while planning your stay and while you are there.
Service Charges
In and around the city, most places add 20% as a “service charge” to your order. This includes your tip! Unless your server was absolutely phenomenal and you want to give him/her something extra, it really is not needed. The tricky thing about this is the restaurants will try to “hide” the service charge by using funky wording. Don’t fall for this – always analyze the receipt before signing.
Dining Minimums and Requirements
Particularly for dinner, most nicer places require a reservation in addition to a table spending minimum. Make sure to get all of the facts ahead of time, and get your name on all of the lists of all of your go-tos at least a week before you go. If you are dining on the beach, be ready to pay a premium for location.
Insta Worthy Miami Restaurants you must try
Now, get ready for the recommended places to go in Miami for brunch, drinks, dinner and more. I have linked all of the restaurant info including their menus for ease of searching.
Brunch Restaurants
If you are looking for an instagrammable brunch spot that also doesn’t break the bank, this place is a must. It is in a street corner location and is covered in accents of rose and mint green. If you can, sit outside. The ambiance is amazing and they have sprinklers to cool you off.
Both their bloody mary and drink called “flower” are unbelievable. I’ve now been twice and the service is always great. There is no spending minimum here, but if you come in peak season I would get a reservation. Find the menu here.
So we went to this place for dinner but I wish we would have gone for brunch. Apparently their brunch is known around the city as out of this world, and the menu is lengthy. Whenever I return to Miami, I will for sure be going and seeing what the hype is all about. All of the portions were quite large and out of my group of six, five of us had enough to take home as leftovers. My photos don’t really do the place justice, but it is adorable inside. I got low key tribal vibes. Find the menu here.

Happy Hour / Small Snacks
Though the drink was a little sweeter than I enjoy, the whole presentation made the experience worth the cost. The staff here was so nice and accommodating – they were completely willing to answer all of our questions about everything. I was shocked that a place known for sugary drinks made such good food, too! The chicken sandwich here is really well made and the portion is perfect for if you need energy but don’t want to overeat/have to take extras home. Find the menu here.
Crazy about You is the cutest little waterside place in Brickell (about 20 minutes from Miami Beach). They have brunch and dinner options, but I honestly loved going there just for a small snack and some cocktails. The froze is fabulous and a must try.
Dinner Restaurants
This rooftop bar and sushi restaurant was by far my favorite place we went during my first trip to the city. The ambiance was somehow boujee yet low key, and the view of the city was absolutely incredible. Just as a heads up: there is a table minimum if you decide to eat here, so make sure to check with everyone in your party about costs. I recommend ordering the Sugar Roll – it was by far my favorite menu item.
They honor celebrations, so make sure to let the host know if you are there for a birthday, anniversary, etc. While there, make sure to check out the “secret” bar East that is hidden inside of one of the restaurant’s walls. The drinks are yummy and the DJ was good at what he does.
This Italian find is located inside of the Fountainbleu hotel, and is such a treat! My fiance and I went on a date night here when we were in town for his work, and loved the ambiance. It is a little dark inside the main dining area, but the bar area in the front is very chic (and the perfect place to snap some photos).
