Tweed Dress as a Winter Wardrobe Staple
Tweed has always been that fabric I find beautiful but never wear. It has always struck me as a very luxury, classy look, and there is always the potential that I have been intimidated by it.
It has never occurred to me that something so beautiful and mature could be a wardrobe staple. Here, I accessorized the tweed dress in a very simplistic manner. A black clutch, my current favorite black heels, and some of my very favorite sunglasses from the summer. I wanted to keep the look young yet professional. This dress was comfortable and fit true to size. It is the perfect type of zero-effort piece to throw on for lunch with friends.

Tweed Dress for Work
This dress could be worn to the office year round. Throw on a black blazer and a stiletto and keep it classic, or add a pop of color into the mix. Just like the best thing about black and white is the versatility, the best thing about tweed is it is acceptable most seasons of the year.
Tweed Dress for Winter
I’ve always been one of the only people in my office to wear dresses during the winter. The reasoning has always been a mystery to me. Taking a dress like this and throwing on some tights and flats is a very easy thing to do. You also could throw on a pair of over the knee boots and be completely fine, especially in the south. This particular dress is cut so perfectly, that if you wanted to wear a sweater over it (I would recommend a deep color rather than a neutral) it could easily pass as a skirt. Something like this is such an amazing investment piece that it needs to find its way into your closet!
