My Favorite Affordable Coffee Table Books
Finding coffee table books that are visually appealing and don’t cost a small fortune can be nearly impossible. You can search the world wide web all day, but that doesn’t mean you are going to find what you are looking for.
In today’s article, I am going to share with you a list of my favorite affordable coffee table books, and why these made the cut.
What Goes Into a Quality Coffee Table Book
On so many occasions in the past, I have ordered books for their AeSThEtiC, only for them to come in the mail and be low quality. Because of this, I want to share with you my criteria for one of quality. A coffee table book of quality:
- Isn’t flimsy – If it comes in the mail and is a paperback or feels like it is going to fall apart, it is a no go
- Is a decent size – I ordered one not long ago that gave the dimensions in centimeters rather than inches, and when it arrived it looked like a storybook for my corgi. Nope.
- Has a cohesive vibe – Everything should feel like it goes together. The cover of the book should match the inside, and nothing about it should stress you out.
Why Your Space Needs Coffee Table Books
When I was younger, I saw coffee table books as clutter. They are something else you have to dust and nobody ever looked at them! Since having my own place, though, my thoughts on this changed. Coffee table books not only are appealing to the eye, but they also give you an easy way to accessorize any sort of table, room, or surface. They are fun to look through and often filled with beautiful, alluring photos. I even like to read them! My living room now has a decent amount of books. They really help bring everything together.

Chanel: Collection and Creations
This book is glamour meets budget. Whether your style is classic, modern, retro, etc… there is no way you can go wrong with a black and white book from Chanel. The pages are beautiful to flip through, and they add a little bit of chic to rooms even owned by peasants (aka me 😉 ).
Since I have become a queen of healthy living with my wedding coming up, this book has become a key resource for my life and ways of eating/living. Being the design lover I am, I also quite enjoy the font and use of metallic on the cover.
Reece is probably one of my favorite humans on earth. Her vibe just lights up a room. This is not only an affordable coffee table book, but also a cookbook and a guide to southern life.
If you need a book to make a room more feminine this is your best friend. It’s cover is all pink and purple tones, which would look great in a room that has a lot of browns or nudes. I love this book as a gift idea.
This is actually my most recent Amazon purchase, thanks to this article. Organization is not something that comes naturally to me, but the author really sets up the book so that anyone, even someone like me who struggles, can become organized and do it right. I am excited to add it to my collection (plus its light cover will be a great eye catching piece in the middle of my blue and brown toned living room).
The first thought that comes into my head when seeing this book’s cover is chic. It looks like something that would run you $100+, so it really is such a hidden gem. I would love to put this in a place where we are in need of a little bit more detail.
A classic. If you’re just now starting to grow your book collection, this one is a solid choice. Kate Spade is a class act and such a female-empowering legend, so this would not only be a beautiful piece to put in your home, but one you would enjoy looking through as well. Plus, it already has a wine ring on it, so you don’t have to worry – the damage is already done 😉
