9 Items that Make Packing for Travel Easier

Items that Make Packing for Travel Easier

When traveling for work, there is nothing more exhausting than the packing process. Especially when you’re trying to squeeze everything into a carry on, it seems like 9 times out of 10 your items grow throughout the week! By the time you arrive at your destination, it is literally impossible for everything you need to make it with you in the suitcase. And don’t even get me started on packing to come back home- zipping up your bag when you leave is a challenge… and the list goes on.

Over the pre pandemic year, I have made a dedicated effort to shrink these inconveniences (notice I said shrink, not eliminate). Today, I am sharing with you one of the most important things I did to up my travel game: investing in cost-effective packing essentials that made my life so. much. easier.

Want some more travel tips? I listed some that are quick and easy to follow in my article here!

9 Items that make Packing for Travel Easier

Everyone needs a makeup bag that is easy to carry and helps us get organized. This particular one has every zipper, lots of little compartments, basically it has everything that you could possibly need to get even the most unorganized of travelers ready to go. The compactness of the bag makes it the perfect travel companion.

Nothing is worse than getting up to the front of the security line and then having to dodge angry glares because you can’t find your wallet in your massive tote bag. Rather than having to do a mini dive into chaos, do yourself a favor and spend less than $20 on something that will make your life easier. This particular purse organizer even has a cord to hold your keys! This is an airport (and honestly everywhere) necessity for sure.

For those of you traveling with children or a significant other that needs a little extra help (or maybe you do too – I don’t judge), this list is a great way to keep track of what you packed (and what you still need to pack) so you don’t forget any necessities and you’ll know what to bring back home.

Okay this is not a joke. During my last solo trip, so many people asked me how I got such great pictures of myself. Well, ask no more – this is how. This one is easy to use and comes with a remote so you can be close up or super far! It’s even compatible with Apple devices and Androids. No need to worry about toting a camera around anymore!

Nothing is worse than having your curling iron’s cord wrapped around your clothes somehow at the bottom of the bag when you purposely placed it on top. And no one wants to put a hot hair straightener in a bag with things it could possibly melt! Alleviate this issue with a simple solution: a holder (a counter shield, if you will).

Keep your cords, chargers, and socket boxes (does anyone know what they’re actually called?) all together in one place while you travel. This will not only help you find them quicker and stay organized, but it will also extend the life of your cords now that heavy items in your bag / carry on won’t be falling all over them.

Because who wants their smelly worn clothes mixed in with their nice and new pressed linens? Not me.

Toting all of your vitamins, medications, and other important little guys can take up so much room if they’re all in individual containers in your suitcase. Invest in a pill organizer that is sturdy and compact with a hint of cuteness. This one will keep you on your schedule without making you look or feel older than you really are.

Because nobody should be bringing their entire wallet on any type of public transportation, and that’s just common knowledge! This compact card holder comes with a zipper to keep everything safe and sound. Plus just LOOK at that cute  bumble bee accent. You’re killing it, honey!
