The Top 5: Places to Shop for Affordable Home Decor
Shopping for home decor is always something that stresses me out a little bit more than I care to admit. I want to look stylish, but not too trendy. Items need to be quality, but also not leave me broke after purchasing. In today’s Top 5, I’m going to be sharing places to shop for affordable home decor (that aren’t Wayfair!). From trendy to classic, I’m just sure one of these places will have items you are looking for on a budget that works for you.

Trendy, minimalist

One of my friends from college (who is also a blogger – check out her Insta) is the one who initially opened my eyes to the world of H&M Home, and my life has been forever changed. They have some of the cutest home accessories for such a great price point!
2 - Anthropologie
Bohemian, chic, unique

Yes, I’m continuing this segment with yet another clothing retailer with their own home decor selection! While Anthropologie’s clothing is often associated with “higher end” and more pricey, I am happy to note that their home section has quite a few fun steals for even those that wouldn’t consider themselves “alternatives”. Their kitchen section is fabulous (and also full of great ideas for gifts). Check it out here.
Affordable, starter-home, optionfilled
While the number of options here may be a little overwhelming at times, you can find so many quality home items and decor at Walmart for a steal of a price. I personally got my bar cart from here and love it so much I ended up gifting the same one to my sister for Christmas. One brand I always lean on when shopping here is Better Homes & Gardens. Their selection is always great and the pieces are typically quality at a solid pricepoint.
Seasonal, high end
Whenever I am looking for a home decor type of gift for a housewarming present or something of that regard, Nordstrom Rack is always my first stop. They carry designer brands that I love – such as Barefoot Dreams blankets and Nest New York (candles and home fragrances) – at a fraction of the typical retail price!
5 - Amazon
A little bit of everything
Amazon has a shockingly large array of home items at an affordable rate. Though I typically recommend sticking to items that have more than 1,000 ratings (and read the reviews on furniture … some require assembly) I have had some great luck getting items on there to decorate at a fabulous price!
