Plunging neckline dresses: let’s talk about them!
Welcome to the newest segment on my blog – trend report! This is where I am going to be showing you the top trends of the upcoming season and how to style them so you are on track. Today’s report: plunging necklines. This trend is a fan favorite of the smaller chested, and is a sexier look without being too revealing.
From dresses to tops, blouses to bodysuits, plunging necklines have been appearing all over the place. In fact, my wedding dress had a deep V neckline that we stitched up to make it a little less deep. (Click here to read more about my wedding!)
In today’s article, I am going to be sharing:
When wearing something with a deep V, it is important to keep the neckline as the focal point. That means when it comes to styling, you want to keep things as simple as possible. If you wear jewelry, make sure your necklace(s) are simple. For shoes, try to go with something more neutral like a nude or brown.
Most importantly, remember that fashion tape is always and forever your friend. Use these to keep your girls hidden without having to wear a sticky bra. I have linked some of my favorites below. Personally, I like the Hollywood brand the best simply because it comes in a little case I can pop in my purse. Being from Texas, this allows me to refresh the tape at an event if it is 100+ degrees out and I’m sweating profusely.
This fabulous maxi is the perfect transition piece from summer into fall. With its brown and orange tones, it makes for an amazing fall outfit but with a summer style. I love wearing it to date nights, and it is such a go to for more casual weddings. Click here to shop this look!

Sometimes a plunging neckline can be such a beautiful addition to a dress! It can be a way to make a statement without even having to add anything to the outfit. I love the pieces you showcased, especially the white mini dress on the bottom center. Thank you for sharing!
