The Top 5 Fresh Scented Candles for Spring
Welcome to the Top 5: a new segment where I share my top 5 favorites of any given topic. Whether it is fashion, home, decor, or just personal favs, the top 5 will give you a little glimpse into my personal favs (that you should totally try out, too). Today, I am sharing The Top 5 fresh scented candles for spring you should bring into your home.
Candles come at all different price ranges. It can be a real bummer when you spend a little extra on one and it does not come out being near as fragrant as you wanted. During the spring, I want everything to smell (and look) FRESH. I want my home to feel as joyous and clean as a freaking Downy commercial. Which is why the candles I am going to be sharing today will not only make your home smell good. They will – in my personal experience – make your entire room (or more) feel fresh and joyful. I listed a few of these in my article about how to make your home more cozy a few years back. Clearly, these are some long term favs!
A Few Other Details about these Fresh Scented Spring Candles
These candles come at all different price points and scents. While you may notice a theme (a couple of my favorite candle brands are mentioned more frequently), I tried to give a wide variety of options for these top 10s! Splurge on a fancier, more pricey option for yourself, or gather up some of the more affordable ones to give as housewarming gifts!
While Nest brand candles has the others beat on options, I LOVE that all of these candles come in all different sizes. You can put a large one in your living room, while putting a smaller version of the same one in the bathroom to light when company is over.
Candle #1 - Nest Wild Mint and Eucalyptus
Starting out with my absolute FAVORITE! This candle can be found all over my apartment during the spring. I have a massive one next to my bed, a standard, single wick burning on my kitchen bar … it lasts forever and smells so heavenly. Comes in sizes 2 oz up to 43.7 oz and also as a diffuser.
Candle #2 - Opalhouse Gardenia Lotus
Gardenias are my favorite flowers. Growing up in Augusta, GA, we had gardenia bushes lining our home … so this scent is nostalgic to me. The best part about this candle though is you get 50 hours of burn time for $10. Such a steal. This is my favorite candle to light at the end of a long day to enjoy with a good book.
Candle #3 - Lafco Fresh Cut Gardenia
While I’m on my gardenia kick … Here is another favorite at a slightly higher price point. Lafco candles last FOREVER and are such great gifts to give if you want to bring joy to someone all season long (even if that person is yourself)! This would make a fabulous gift for Mother’s Day.
Candle #4 - Opalhouse Pink Lady & Peony
Nothing says luxury on a budget like this elegant find! I love how the gold hardware lid contrasts with the soft pink of the candle’s wax. It’s the little things. PS: did you know candles come with lids to put out flames without getting smoke everywhere? Love this little ambiance saving hack.
Candle #5 - Nest Himalayan Salt and Rose Water
This is my latest addition to my little list (I got this candle as part of a PR package and have it burning right now)! It is so delightfully soft yet fragrantful. It would be the perfect candle to light while having a champagne toast or at the end of a long day.
