Our Rehearsal Dinner
Today on the blog, I am sharing the moment that our wedding weekend became so REAL to me – our rehearsal dinner!
I’m not sure why, but for some reason this is the moment that everything began to truly click for me. It was really happening! After 5 years, I was finally about to marry the sweetest man to walk the earth the very next day!
In this article, I am going to talk about:
- Before the Event
- The Rehearsal Dinner
- What I Wore
- Vendor Details
- Decoration Details
Before the Rehearsal Dinner
The Friday before our wedding started with my beautiful bridal luncheon and a little downtime before the evening festivities got started.
Before the rehearsal dinner and even the run through, Harry and I got to have an intimate communion with our reverend. This memory, though short, is one of my favorites from the whole weekend and something I’ll cherish forever. I loved getting to spend this one small moment in time alone with Harry before the wedding festivities all took place.

The Rehearsal Dinner
I knew going into the evening that our rehearsal dinner was going to be fabulous. Harry’s mom is an interior designer and so, of course, every detail was immaculately planned out. That said, I was unprepared for just how perfect everything was. She had turned River Crest Country Club’s downstairs ballroom into a dreamy wonderland. Our close families, out of town guests, and wedding parties all were in attendance.
What I Wore
I got to wear my dreamy white jumpsuit from Stanley Korshak Bridal in Dallas (click here to read all about my experience there)! I loved the mesh back and the wide legs. My shoes were – of course – blue and super comfortable. It was important to me that I would be able to wear them again after the weekend was over.

Vendor Details
In addition to Kay (my mother-in-law)’s eye for design, the show wouldn’t have gone on without the amazing vendors. To name a few:
Venue: River Crest Country Club in Fort Worth
Band: Bobby Burns Jr and his crew
Cigars: Cigar Factory New Orleans
Flowers: Jim Irwin Floral
Photography: Kayley Haulmark
Floral Table Decor
The head table was decorated with yellow dancing lady flowers in individual vases. It was such a dreamy scene!
All of the other tables had large centerpieces with floating decor within the vases – something I had never seen before!
The Cigar Table
The cigar table was absolutely stunning, and I was so glad they placed it at the front of the room. Kay had the cigars and match books individually bagged in purple bags, which looked AMAZING in contrast with the banana leaves laid on the table. All of the cigars were rolled in our rehearsal dinner logo.
The Band
I LOVED how the band brought so much life to the room! They truly knew when to play what. I just love how live music added something special to our rehearsal dinner and provided the BEST vibes! During dinner, they also gave a special shout out to our friends who had given up their birthday weekend to celebrate us <3
The Speeches
Speeches were another top 5 moment from the weekend for me. I wish they hadn’t gone by so quickly! It was such a happy blur of excitement hearing some of our favorite people recount special moments about us individually and as a couple.
