I was so blessed to be thrown the most beautiful bridal luncheon by my sweet grandmother the day before our wedding! It was the best kickoff to the fabulous weekend I could have imagined.
The luncheon took place at Colonial Country Club (the same place as our reception!) on the day of our rehearsal dinner. It was an amazing way to start the weekend and get everyone in wedding mode. The room selected for the occasions overlooked the golf course and had windows on every side. It made for the perfect atmosphere.
We had selected light blue linens for the occasion (because of the saying something old…) that had just the tiniest bit of shimmer. They matched perfectly with the light grey and pink bold floral napkins and the table arrangements!
Because we wanted everyone ready for the rehearsal runthrough (and, of course, the dinner!) no alcohol was served. We kept the meal light. Coffee was offered at the end for anyone running on caffeine like I certainly was. Of course, we made sure the luncheon took place at a time early enough in the day that everyone had time to go home, unwind, and relax after (we could have even called it a bridal brunch)!
The dress I wore was an absolutely fabulous find! It was very greek goddess chic. Somehow it managed to be flowy and fitted all in one. I loved the off the shoulder touch. Here is the link in case you want to check it out!
I accessorized with gold earrings to keep it simple, and braided heeled sandals because I wanted to make sure my feet wouldn’t hurt!
This was the perfect opportunity to get my and Harry’s intimate family members acquainted. It also got the bridal party ready for the weekend ahead! I used this opportunity to give everyone that was able to attend their gifts for the weekend (which I will be sharing in a post later!). I am truly so glad we got to start the weekend off in such a dreamy manner!
