My Wedding Dress Shopping Experience
Though I had tried on wedding dresses before for a charity event and even gone shopping with a close friend for her dress, I truly had no idea exactly what I was looking for when it came to my own. I just knew it had to be perfect!

Christina (and finding my dream princess dress!)
This was the day I met Christina – the woman who would help make all of my dreams come true. I showed her several photos of dresses I was thinking of, and she immediately went and began pulling. Some of the dresses were the exact same as the photos I had shown her. Others were nearly exact matches. When I began trying on, it became immediately apparent – the first dress to hit my body was “the one”.
It was a beautiful Anne Barge gown that made me feel like a princess. The only part of the dress up for debate was the neckline. It went deep, and while I personally loved this feature, we did worry that some of the key invitees on my list wouldn’t be as appreciative. Christina hopped to action. When my dress came in, the dip was still there, but it had been adjusted to be a much more modest cut.

Christina was accommodating, so much fun to work with, and honest. My favorite part about her was just that: her honesty. There were a couple dresses I had pulled to try on that she told me (very kindly, of course), “I don’t think this is the style for you” which SAVED me from going out and modeling some extremely unflattering looks. Anyone willing to be that vulnerable and forefront with me within an hour of meeting me is golden in my book.
